History: He was born into a rich family. Shifting was born on a far southern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Armorer. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Carter and occasionally as a mercenary.

Motivation: Revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Engraver father left him crippled. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 8 years.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it
