History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Dondon was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: Darrak lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and doesn't want to be a locksmith and was forced into it by his family

History: The child of a Bather, who enjoyed hunting, Anthony was taken on many hunting expeditions. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He takes great joy in being the best Bricklayer in town.

History: Born in the east to a Bricklayer, Bidreked learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He's also a talented Bowyer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers
