History: Born in the north to a Soapmaker, Grom learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. A gifted student he started as a Courier, but he got bored and became a Soapmaker. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
