He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Miles was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and to reunite with his absent mother

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes brigands are coming to abduct people. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Spice Merchant work with an outfit from a few towns over. Spice Merchant work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Mantus fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. He worked as a nervous Assassin and found it very stressful. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
