History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Kody was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He moved out east to avoid the crime he committed. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Serpent embodies much of what other species detest in the Tabaxis. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. After a long history of fighting, Serpent and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and wants to raise his children well
