In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Enialis alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Shepherd for the past few years.

Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Valorean never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
