Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Vlorn embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Vlorn was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Naill grew up listening to his father's many stories. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.
