History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Miller they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Mortician, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and doesn't want to be a mortician and was forced into it by his family

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he wears tan leather gloves, a tan jacket, and tight pants. He wears a wide-brimmed hat to hide his balding. His violet eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered

History: Faran was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Cleric, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Cleric in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Halfling companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature hand crossbow.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: He wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with blue colored cloaks and clothing. His chestnut hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a skull scrunchie. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his gray eyes.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Kildrak isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Dwarven unity. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and to find somewhere to settle down

Description: He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His skin is fair and his fingers are delicate and long. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He was born in a small plains village. Kilvar was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Kilvar decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: He would like to get married and retire; and doesn't want to be a farmer and was forced into it by his family

Description: An older man who wears a green collared shirt and red pants. He accessorizes with a white scarf around the waist and a strap diagonally across his shirt, he is not a threatening figure. His white fur is greasy and uncared for. His eyes are likewise copper. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Gale's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Ruler but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Gale alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and a deep hatred of dire rats
