History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Barendd alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
