Description: This southern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He tends to wear a large black jacket. His chestnut hair is thinning but still full. His eyes are likewise hazel.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Sailor work with an outfit from a few towns over. Sailor work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Performer. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he tends to wear a brown poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. His hair, while still mostly chestnut, has prominent grey streaks. His skin is flawless and his brown eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. The war was a terrible time for him, and Dain does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Layabout for the past few years.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. Gerald enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Senteq was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He is greedy; and he has money and likes to spend it

Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking northern young adult. He wears baggy yellow pantaloons and a black scarf. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. His white fur is long and unkept. He has several tiny topaz earrings on each ear.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he is greedy
