Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

History: He was born in the east. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Kaladan abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.
