History: Born to a Doctor, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 13 years.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Lance grew up listening to his mother's many stories. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. A freak accident while working with his Courier father left him crippled. Being a Merchant kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
