Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: Alex was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Ranger, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Ranger in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Human Ranger who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: Hubert wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Rogue, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Hubert grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Through the years after Alston was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Alston's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 11 years.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. After a long history of fighting, Dondon and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Miner responsibilities is difficult.
