It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: The child of a Spy, who enjoyed hunting, Aerdeth was taken on many hunting expeditions. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He has achieved small success as a Detective.
