History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the east. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
