He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He's also a talented Butcher, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: Thorin is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Performer arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Expand his business; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it

His blonde hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His eyes are likewise blue. His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes giants are coming to abduct people. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Zook was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
