Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Eiravel was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Eiravel alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Cloak hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, gnolls burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying north to reunite his family. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Cloak was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.
