Through the years after Sapply was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. History: Tree lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Tanner work with an outfit from a few towns over. Tanner work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He struck the Tanner job and began his own company from there.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Umpen was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Rogue, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Rogue in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Gnome Rogue who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Gnomish artifacts is his passion.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Personality: Hugh speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.
