Thorin Trueblood, Male Dwarf [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This western man is abnormally tall. He dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. He sports a flattop hair cut. He has gleaming, smiling hazel eyes.
Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Thorin is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. He dropped out of school to support his sick mother, and resented it. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and doesn't want to be a shoemaker and was forced into it by his family
Ideals: Justice, Logical. Flaws: Cynical. Bonds: Immigrant, Family. Occupation: Shoemaker
Voice: Rhymes sentences (sorry)

Whurbin Balderk, Male Dwarf [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He wears tan leather gloves, a tan jacket, and tight pants. He is physically well-built. He keeps his brown hair in a pixie cut. His ears are large.
Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.
History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Through the years after Whurbin was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Whurbin's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he's repulsed by the pc

He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.
