History: Ortegar hails from a village terrorized by goblins. He found a children's book about a Halfling Bard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Dilettante for the past few years.

Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Pirithin lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
