History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Faran was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He found a children's book about a Halfling Expert who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Gennal was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Gennal decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal.

Description: This western man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He is typically in his Knight uniform. His chestnut hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a skull scrunchie. His eyes are black and catlike.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Knight.

Motivation: Expand his business; and wants to open a new tavern

History: Carrie hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Detective. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Detective responsibilities is difficult; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Description: This southern man is abnormally tall. He wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with Stetson hat. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His head has been shaved. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. The war was a terrible time for him, and Theodoric does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. When Theodoric reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He's also a talented Fisher, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and expand his business
