History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the south. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Description: He wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with white lining and desert motifs, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 6'4" when asserting himself. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy brown hair. His eyes are amber and catlike.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: Frederick lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the south were limited. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and a strong sense of loyalty to halfling people

History: Ratanák was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Orcs in the north were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Half-Orc artifacts is his passion; and to reunite with his old friends

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes brigands are coming to abduct people. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Shipwright arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. While he appears to be a normal Tiefling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Many brigands want him driven away; and he wants revenge against brigands
