He did whatever it took for him to survive. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: Born in the east to a Fortune-teller, Lamlis learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Lamlis alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Pelt grew up listening to his father's many stories. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and nothing but the best is good enough for him
