History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Shump was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. Through the years after Morkral was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Morkral's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Sage for the past few years.
