Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Zephan was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.

History: He got into the Soapmaker business at a young age. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the east were limited. He's also a talented Fortune-teller, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: To be a Fortune-teller again; and further expansion of business

Description: This younger middle-aged man wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat, and a wedding ring on his right hand. His moppish golden hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His fierce blue eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: He got into the Dilettante business at a young age. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He's also a talented Carpenter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Dilettante and was forced into it by his family.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: This exceptionally lanky man dresses in blue turtlenecks beneath a yellow coat with grey slacks. He keeps his long silver hair kept up in a rat tail. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
