His hazel eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. The war was a terrible time for him, and Ildrex does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
