Balam Obscure, Male Tiefling [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic right leg, he wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. His deerstalker hat is riddled with cuts and holes. He wears a mask on his face.
Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Balam is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
Motivation: To end his boredom; and he has a crush on the local shoemaker
Ideals: Justice. Flaws: Ugly, Shy. Bonds: Poor. Occupation: Map Maker
Voice: Speaks with lower jaw sticking out
