History: Thorin lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and doesn't want to be a bookbinder and was forced into it by his family

History: Born in the south to a Mercenary, Shivering learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Mercenary. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
