History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Serpent was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Mason business.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Bather they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Mason, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Through the years after Eberk was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Eberk's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now spends his time doing works of charity.
