History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Rolf was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. After a long history of fighting, Rolf and his spouse have recently divorced.

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he is wearing colorful clothing, dressed as a Layabout. He has styled his black hair well, parting it to the right. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 26. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world.

Description: This man stands a little under 6'6" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized tan coat. His crest, while still mostly white, has prominent grey streaks. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: He was born in the south. His childhood dream was to be a Gardener, but he was a colossal failure. He tends to his Fletcher job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Fletcher responsibilities is difficult.

Description: This late middle aged man is dressed in earthy colors with a blue and brown handkerchief worn on his right side and is in decent physical shape. He wears a deerstalker hat to cover his moderate length brown hair. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are blue.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out
