History: Rivaan was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: An older man who typically wears white cloth garments or leather armor, he is not a threatening figure. His blonde hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines green.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: The child of a Shepherd, who enjoyed hunting, Traubon was taken on many hunting expeditions. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Shepherd they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Butcher, and he later adopted a second son.

History: Elaim lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions
