History: Gifted from a young age, Fonkin studied abroad. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Fonkin was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Upon awakening, Valorean discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and he has decided he is irredeemable
