History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Shamash grew up listening to his mother's many stories. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Shamash alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Slave Trader for the past few years.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Faran was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Sailor. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and to be a tanner again

Personality: He hates Gnomes with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He was born in the north. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Gnomish conditions. He became a Navigator soon after.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Mason who has hired him part-time. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He is a Doppelganger in disguise. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shortspear.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he has a crush on the local farmer

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A freak accident while working with his Baker mother left him crippled. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and a rival would like him out of the picture
