History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Everard grew up listening to his mother's many stories. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Cartwright for the past few years.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Emerald lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he has a crush on the local cook

History: He was born into a rich family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. He found a children's book about a Tiefling Wizard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature greatsword.

History: Geoffrey was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
