He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. After coming to the age of reason, Diggory took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Roger alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. After a long history of fighting, Roger and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Banker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Being a Banker kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
