Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Varis was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.

When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: The child of a Carter, who enjoyed hunting, Erias was taken on many hunting expeditions. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
