The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Naeris was born the youngest of three triplets. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and wants his loneliness to end

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.

Personality: Warryn is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
