History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and a rival would like him out of the picture

He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Through the years after Theriatis was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Theriatis's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
