Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Qualen will drive conversation. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He now mingles about in high society.
