He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Halfling in existence. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Kelter's homeland. Kelter decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Valorean grew up listening to his father's many stories. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
