Personality: Emerald hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his poetry career. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

History: He was raised in a island tribe. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Varis took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up longbow and armor he uses now. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
