Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Thorpe embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Thorpe hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered dire rats who tried to eat his hand. After a long history of fighting, Thorpe and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Cory isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. A true patriot, Cory would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. Some 8 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Cory never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Harbek's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Born in the south to a Layabout, Harbek learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He worked as a nervous Layabout and found it very stressful. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and retire the richest man in the south

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Seven was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered dancing. He has never given up on his dancing dream.
