History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ortegar fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
