History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He found a children's book about a Human Aristocrat who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
