He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Arannis and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. A true patriot, Pikar would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
