Description: An older man who wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with small hat, he is not a threatening figure. He is bald on top and has large auburn tufts of hair around his ears. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep gray.
Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.
History: He was raised in a plains tribe. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Bertram was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He wears green trousers with brown and blue striped suspenders. He wears various colorful collared shirts. His gray fur has been sun bleached extensively. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines hazel.
Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.
History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.
Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.

Description: This western man is abnormally tall. He wears bulky tan painted plate armor. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His hair is brown, silky, and of moderate length. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.
Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.
History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nazdûg fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and regain custody of his son

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.
History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Gardain was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: He typically wears white cloth garments or leather armor. He has a moderate pudge and is not very fit. He wears a colorful flower in his golden hair. His green eyes dart from person to person.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Aerdeth embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.
History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Aerdeth was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Aerdeth decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.
Motivation: Seeks redemption; and he will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. if successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact
