History: He was born in the south. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: The child of a Tailor, who enjoyed hunting, Bernard was taken on many hunting expeditions. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Description: He is in excellent shape and wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. His hair is long and white with streaks of auburn, and is pulled back with small tan clips. His beard is auburn, braided, and well cared for. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep brown.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Hamil embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Hamil was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Hamil took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up falchion and armor he uses now. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Detective for the past few years.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Born in the east to a Ruler, Frouse learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Ruler work with an outfit from a few towns over. Ruler work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down.
