Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Aust hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He tends to his Assassin job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He moved out north to avoid the crime he committed. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Description: This southern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. He keeps his long brown hair kept up in a rat tail. His amber unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Detective. He struck the Detective job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and to be a ruler again

Description: A 3'2" eastern man, he is generally shirtless and showing off his tattooed chest. His wide-brimmed hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His brown eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Gnome in existence. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Gnomes.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and to protect his home
