History: Born in the west to a Shepherd, Leaf learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Shepherd.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Gnomish activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Gnomish doctor. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Through the years after Tricking was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Tricking's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
