Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Umpen grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he's in love

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the east. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers.
